Two New Cards

Hi,

This is a short post just to share two new cards I made during the holiday.
The first is for my brother in law's girlfriend birthday - Michal:

I used Glimmer Mist for the first time (alone) with Tim Holtz's mask, and a nice pearls embelishment that I got in Nathalie's workshop. The background is a carton I found.

And the second is for my best friend's sister wedding:

I used some leftovers I had from BoBunny, I also used a "congratulation" stamp, and a sticker of flowers which I added some blings to.

Tell me what you think

Canvas from Nat workshop

Hi,

Finally got the chance to tell you about last Friday, when I had a great time in Nathalie Kalbach's workshop. The workshop was organized by Alice from MyPunch.
I've been waiting for this workshop since for a long time, and I have to say that it was worth it.
Nathalie was so nice and funny. Her techniques are very interesting, and I really love her use with colors and different materials (which I wasn't aware of).
The workshop was taking place in Susan Dalal Center in Neve Tzedek in Tel Aviv, so the view and environment was perfect.
Now… for the pictures:

And here are my hands while working – thank you Alice for taking this picture:

As for the first workshop – I didn't manage to finish the mini-album, so no pictures yet…

Hope to have more workshops soon… J

Cards for my sister

Hi,
Today I want to share with you two birthday cards I made for my sister.
One is from me and the other one – my mom asked me to make so she can give it to my sister.
So… here are the results:
The card from me (details are following):

Background: MME (dots), Bo Bunny (behind the bicycle) with some acrylic paints on the edges
3D sticker: Provo Craft
Header: Provo Craft's clear stamp letters on MME paper with white acrylic paints on the edges

The card from my parents (the details are following):

Background: DCWV (stripes), Orange cardstock (vertical stripe)
Flowers: cut from MME paper
Sentiment: printed and glued on a white carton. Edges were distressed and inked with Tim Holtz distress ink (Aged Mahogany)

Let me know what you think.

Pen Box

Hi,

This time I want to share with you a box I made for all my pens and colors.
I recently organized a working area and wanted to make it a "scrapper" place. So, besides of some nice boxes from IKEA, I decided to design something myself.
I took a small Similac box and wraped it with Crepe paper and did it with a lot of wrinkles to give it the look. Then I added the orange tag and wraped it with the very thin ribbon. I also added the flower to add some dimension.

Here are two pictures of it:

What do you think?
